| I love Clarkias! They are so pretty and easy and natives. This one is Clarkia purpurea quadrivulnera "Four spotted purple Clarkia".That is quite a mouth full I would say.She is found mainly in grassland areas and does adapt well to our sunny English style gardens we've found out .The flowers are 1/4 to1/2" and quite profuse. They do have a spot on each petal if you look closely. She is an annual that will reseed and likes sun, about 18" tall to 24",and pretty the way she weaves herself through the garden. |
